I prepared the Community Profile Analysis – Parramatta River Catchment in 2013, as a follow-on to the earlier Community Profile Analysis – Sydney Metropolitan Region.
I completed a Community Profile Analysis in 2012 to assist the Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority (CMA) develop an upgraded Catchment Action Plan and to provide reference information for other Sydney Metropolitan CMA activities. I prepared it through the spatial analysis of Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Census data, with additional information and data from other socio-economic references.
From 2009-11, I was overall Program Manager of the award-winning $77.4 million Hawkesbury-Nepean River Recovery Program, where I used agile management approaches to oversee six different NSW Government agencies implementing seven major projects that carried out works on more than 1,000 properties. The program exceeded its objectives and was successfully completed on time and under budget, winning two major awards.
In 2011, I developed some useful guides to help visitors learn about the city if Shenzhen, China and its many attractions.
In April 2010, the Australian River Restoration Centre (ARRC) hosted Knowledge Leaders training in Canberra, delivered by myself and Nerida Hart.
The Central West Catchment Management Authority (CMA) Knowledge Strategy was reviewed in a full-day workshop I co-facilitated in April 2010, after I had given Knowledge Leaders training to key CMA staff.
While managing the Hawkesbury-Nepean River Recovery Program in 2009-11, I also facilitated the development of a knowledge strategy for the NSW Government Office of the Hawkesbury Nepean (OHN).
In 2006-08, I was the team leader for the “Better practice in knowledge management” package of Phase 2 of the Land & Water Australia (LWA) Knowledge for Regional NRM Program. This package consisted of a Regional Knowledge Strategy process, development of the Regional Knowledge Resource Kit (RKRK) wiki website, and the facilitation of training workshops. I also compiled the program final report.
The 2007 Queensland Rainforest Forum was inspired by the 1998 WWF SEQ Rainforest Recovery Conference that I had previously convened, and attracted over 260 delegates. I delivered an introductory keynote presentation and facilitated the wrap-up session.
