Knowledge Management (KM) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Campaign

In 2024, I led a campaign on behalf of three global knowledge management (KM) organisations – RealKM Cooperative Limited, the Knowledge Management for Development Community (KM4Dev), and Knowledge for Development Partnership (K4DP) – which has informed “Action 32. We will protect, build on and complement Indigenous, traditional and local knowledge” in the UN Pact for the Future, which is the blueprint for the reinvigorated UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Advocacy actions included a multi-author journal editorial and an open letter signed by more than 130 people from the global knowledge management for sustainable development (KM4SD) community.

My leadership role in this advocacy campaign is referenced on page xiii of the Agenda Knowledge for Development and page 87 of a Knowledge Management for Development (KM4Dev) global community of practice Community Note.
