I was invited by a former director of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to participate in the 23rd Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Special Libraries Association / Arabian Gulf Chapter (SLA/AGC) from 7 to 9 March 2017 in Bahrain.

The conference had the theme of “Quality of Library and Information Training and Educational Programs: The Way Map Toward Accreditation”, and my involvement in the conference included participating in a panel session on the expanding role of business information in the knowledge economy.
