Between July 2006 and June 2008, I was the team leader for the “Better practice in knowledge management” package of Phase 2 of the Land & Water Australia (LWA) Knowledge for Regional NRM Program.

This package aimed at providing Australia’s 56 natural resource management (NRM) regions and NRM practitioners with the skills and practices to better search, retrieve, access, manage and evaluate information and knowledge.

I also compiled the program final report Knowledge for Regional Natural Resource Management – Achievements and options.

Phase 2 of the Land & Water Australia (LWA) Knowledge for Regional NRM Program won a Platinum Award in the actKM Forum 2008 Knowledge Management Awards. ‘Platinum’ is the highest award category and awards at this level are rarely made.
