Environmental tourism in the Lockyer Valley

Between 1995 and 2000, I assisted Lockyer Valley landholders to explore and develop nature-based tourism and ecotourism opportunities, as an alternative or supplementary income to traditional farming.

The Lockyer Valley is well suited to take advantage of such activities, being located a short drive west of state capital Brisbane and featuring large areas of natural bushland with spectacular forests, gorges, and wildflower heaths.
