The 2002 Southern Queensland Biodiversity Conference addressed the themes of biodiversity planning, weed threats to biodiversity, conservation and restoration efforts, and people and biodiversity and was followed by a biodiversity skills course.
I organised and convened the conference to follow the earlier 2000 South-East Queensland Biodiversity Recovery Conference and 2001 Southern Queensland Biodiversity Recovery Conference.
